Formed in 1978, The Violators were a New Jersey band that was quite popular in NYC clubs such Max Kansas City and CBGB. They opened for many bands such Siouxsie and the Banshees, Stimulators, Johnny Thunders, Dead Boys and more. The band recorded just one single in late 1979 at Fox Studios in Rutherford NJ.
